This 2 ½ day course will present diagnosis and treatment for craniofacial dysfunctions from birth to adulthood.
Whether new to ALF or an experienced practitioner, this course offers valuable insights and practical “pearls” for all levels.
We’ll begin by exploring the root causes of craniofacial dysfunction from birth onward, emphasizing early interventions such as laser therapy, osteopathic treatments, and neonatal ALF.
From there, we’ll delve into diagnosis and treatment strategies for both pediatric and adult patients.
Through comprehensive case studies, you’ll follow patients from start to finish, with monthly intraoral and postural photos illustrating wire adjustments.
Additionally, we’ll present one live child and adult patient case, demonstrating effective collaboration between ALF dentists and osteopathic physicians.

AÂ hands-on, in-person course to improve palpatory skills and learn dentally relevant soft tissue releases for treating complex craniofacial dysfunctions.Â
This course will present the dominant (key soft tissue) players that create craniofacial dysfunctions.Â
You will learn to identify and diagnose the patterns of soft tissue dysfunction, as well as learn techniques and palpatory skills to treat the strain patterns.

Dr. Tasha Turzo is an internationally recognized expert in the application of osteopathy and functional dentistry, with a focus on the use of the Advance Lightwire Functional (ALF) devises and TMD. Dr. Turzo has been teaching extensively in this field since 1997.
Dr. Luedemann has been a thought leader and innovator in the field of pediatric dentistry for over a decade. She transforms little lives with the ALF appliance as well as with powerful appliances of her own invention based on the ALF principles. She has completed over 250 pediatric ALF cases to date.
